Story Bites Writes Special ... with guest Sam Thompson

Calling all young writers! Do you ever wonder what the world would be like if you could talk with animals? Do you marvel at the power of language and words? Join us for a morning of writing fun, including a virtual workshop with author Sam Thompson discussing words, adventures, the spectacular in the ordinary and wolves.

The session will be held on Saturday 26th June and will run from 9:30 to 12:30 at the The Balmoral Centre, Sailsbury Road, Westcliff. Participants must be aged between 10-14 years and each child must be registered to participate. The session will begin with a warm-up activity before we are joined virtually by our special guest author, Sam Thompson. There will be an opportunity for a discussion and Q&A with the author and free guided writing time for everyone to develop their ideas after the workshop, or the opportunity to take part in another optional writing activity if they wish. 

Everything needed for the event will be provided in the fee, including all writing resources, refreshments and a signed copy of Wolfstongue by Sam Thompson. If you have a favourite pen or notebook you are welcome to bring them along.
